Documentation, audio and video from meetings organized by Blackside before the production of "Eyes on the prize II: America at the racial crossroads 1965-1985." These meetings, called "school" by Blackside,  included lectures and  talks by experts, scholars,  and participants in the events that were to be covered in the series.

According to the updated schedule of April 26, 1988:

"The six-day seminar described below has been planned to touch upon a number of of themes that run through all of Eyes On the Prize II - themes that might be lost if we were to focus solely on the content of individual programs."
