Original Summary:
"Poor Hank. He stayed up late watching television, and now he's sleeping through some important information at school. Officer Gomez is teaching the class how to avoid becoming the victim of dangerous strangers. Fat Albert and the gang are all awake, so they learn how to yell loudly for help, how to walk home in pairs, how to dress correctly, how to have a secret family code word. But Hank's missed it all. So he walks home alone, wearing a T-shirt with his name on it. And that's dangerous because there's a sinister stranger haunting the school grounds. When the stranger tries to grab Russell, Russell remembers to ask for a code word, and he remembers to run and yell. But Hank isn't so lucky. Because the stranger knows his name, Hank believes the stranger's story that Hank's mother is sick and he gets into the car. But luckily, the gang sees the incident and calls the police. Thanks to the gang's quick thinking, Hank is saved. From now on, He'll be more careful of strangers!" - Summary from the teacher's guide.
