"Following Ricky through a school morning, the camera documents a typical lunch period. Ricky's "stream of consciousness" thoughts form most of the narration as the film deals with washing of hands before eating; consideration for others, disposal of wrappers, cartons and other waste; keeping lunch or milk money from getting lost; keeping lunch-room noise at a reasonable level, and other aspects of lunch time behavior.
