Telephone pre-interview with  Rufus Lewis by Orlando Bagwell. Lewis talked about his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery, Alabama. Lewis, a funeral director and small business owner, was involved in many activities and organizations, including voter registration, the Alabama Democratic Conference, the Citizen's Club. He also discussed his involvement with the Montgomery Bus Boycott and Martin Luther King, Jr.
