Telephone pre-interview with Hugh Jenkins by Orlando Bagwell. Jenkins was on the Board of Supervisors in Farmville, Virginia in 1959. He discussed the reaction of the community to the Brown v. Board of Education decision,  the vote not to appropriate money for the public schools in Farmville, and the subsequent closing of the public schools.
