This film was produced by Ellen Hovde and her husband, Adam Giffard. In 2005 a researcher tried to contact her but she was elderly and in ill health. Her children Tessa and Trev Huxley were conducting business for her. 

She and her husband owned the company Scientific Film Services of New York according to her daughter. 

There was some confusion clarifying the copyright. The copyright was most ikely owned by 
Scientific Film Services of New York  (and Ellen Hovde and Adam Giffard). Hovde was too ill to confirm this and had no documenation and we couldn't contact Giffard, as he was no longer married to her. So the assumption is that Hovde, Giffard and their heirs are the copyright owners but they had no documentation on it, so any copies made of this need an indemnification statement absolving WU of any future lawsuits, etc. "
