Box 01 - Contains press clippings related to Blackside's productions from the 1980s and 1990s.  Includes reviews and articles about "Eyes on the Prize" I and II, including some from "The Boston Globe," "Washington Post," "The Suffolk Journal," and "The New York Times";  "Malcolm X: Make it Plain" article from "The New York Times";  "America's War on Poverty" articles in  "The Boston Globe," "The Boston Herald," and "The New Yorker"; review of "The Great Depression" from "Time"; "I'll Make Me a World" article in "The New York Times"; and interviews with Henry Hampton in "The St. Louis Post-Dispatch" and "The World Magazine."  Also has correspondence related to Henry Hampton's participation at Washington University's 1989 commencement. 

Box 02 - Contains press clippings related to "Eyes on the Prize" I and II, "The Great Depression," "America's War on Poverty," "I'll Make Me a World," and Henry Hampton's honorary degree from Washington University and involvement in the commencement program. Includes clippings from "The Boston Globe," "New York Daily News," "Time," "Boston Magazine," "The St. Louis Post-Dispatch," "Bay State Banner," Ford Foundation newsletter, Washington University newspaper, Bridgewater State College booklet, and other publications. 

Box 03 -Contains press clippings related to "Eyes on the Prize," "The Great Depression,"and Henry Hampton.  Includes clippings  from "TV Guide," "Time," "The New York Times,"  "The Boston Globe"; compilations of clippings, such as  a "Promotion Report and Clips Conpendium (Volumes I and III) for "The Great Depression" and Volume I of bound press clippings for "Eyes on the Prize"; and clippings related to Henry Hampton's Career Achievement Award and death.  Also has clippings related to the works of Ken Burns. Also includes binder with photocopies of reviews of "America's War on Poverty" ; photocopies of pages from "The Current" featuring a photo of Henry Hampton with President Bill Clinton (6/28/93) ; The Current (7/12/93) with an article on Blackside ; Time magazine (10/25/93) with a review of the Great Depression ; South End News (5/2/2000) article on Blackside winning Peabody Award ; Boston Sunday Globe (9/9/90) article on Hampton ; St. Louis Post-Dispatch Magazine (7/1/90) "Update: Henry Hampton" ; Boston Globe 1/21/87 Hampton interview with photo of 27 Blackside staff ; New York Times (1/18/87) article on Eyes on the Prize ; The Independent (1/16/97) interview with Juan Williams ; St. Louis Globe Democrat (6/5/61) includes list of entire Washington University graduating class, including Henry Hampton ; of special interest is a photocopy of the Dedicatory Program for Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St. Louis (2/22/37) which includes a photo of Henry Hampton's father who was the hospital's Medical Director ; also a Souvenir Program from the Homer G. Phillips Hospital School of Nursing 40th Anniversary celebration 1959.

Box 04 - Contains press clippings  and full magazines and newspaper sections with articles related to "Eyes on the Prize, Part 2," "The Great Depression" and Henry Hampton. Includes articles on Eyes 2 from Newsweek 3/22/88 , San Diego Tribune 5/14/88, Boston Herald 1/14/90 and a mention of Eyes 2 as one of the best television programs of the year in the New York Times 12/30/90 ;   articles and reviews of "The Great Depression"  in the Los Angeles Times 10/25/93, the Boston Herald 10/22/93, New York Newsday 10/24/93,  Minneapolis Tribune 11/1/93, New York Times 10/25/93, and full issues of  Variety 11/1/93 and Time 10/25/93 containing "Great Depression" articles. Also contains newspaper sections from which articles related to "The Great Depression" appear to have been clipped. These publications are dated at the time "The Great Depression" aired, but no Blackside related material remains. These include USA Today 1-/25/93, the New York Daily News 10/25/93, and the New York Post 10/23/93. Also includes an entire issue of American Heritage magazine, November 1993 with a post-it note saying "Turn to p.16" but that page has been removed. Also contains articles on "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?" Day in Billboard 10/23/93 and the National Coalition For The Homeless Newsletter July/August 1993. Also contains materials with no apparant connection to Blackside or its films: Focus: Joint Center for Political Studies Sept. 1988, and Making America Work 1987 by the National Governor's Association, chaired by Bill Clinton.

Box 05 - Contains large press clippings and full magazines with articles related to Henry Hampton and "The Great Depression". Includes 6 copies of The Boston Globe Magazine (6/12/88) with the cover story "Eyes on Henry Hampton" ; articles and reviews of Great Depression in clippings from the Los Angeles Times (10/25/93), the Boston Herald (10/22/93), New York Newsday (10/24/93), the New York Times (10/25/93), Time (10/25/93), a complete copy of Variety (11/1/93) and photocopies from the Minneapolis Tribune (11/1/93) ; a complete copy of Daily Variety (10/24/97) featuring a full page ad from Kodak congratulating Henry Hampton on recieving the IDA Career Achievement Award ; two complete copies of "The 100 Listing 1989 - Black Influentials in Boston" featuring a listing for Henry Hampton ; approximately 25 copies of an ad for "Flying" magazine 11 x 16 inches, featuring Henry Hampton ; a poster for a public appearance by Henry Hampton at Ohio State University 1/26/87.
