Photos show scenes dealing with racism and segregation: blatant segregation (white vs. colored facilities), race riots (namely, the Detroit Riots of 1943), lynchings and beatings, Ku Klux Klan demonstrations and civil rights demonstrations,  and reproductive prints of historical Antebellum woodcuts and documents of slavery.
