Includes portraits and group portraits of Navy seamen in dress uniform, participating in naval training exercises, and working on ships. Also includes photos of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, portraits of Navy ships, and publicity photos for "The Different Drummer."  Of particular note are portraits of Admiral Samuel L. Gravely, Jr., Doris "Dorie" Miller receiving the Navy Cross, and the Golden Thirteen, the first Black navy officers.
