Box 01 - Includes a "Publishing, Education and Community Outreach Proposal.  Includes lists of schools, museums and bookstores which Blackside hoped to involve in outreach programs. Includes  correspondence and memoranda of phone calls requesting artists profiled in the series to appear at public relations events in numerous cities. Includes schedules of these events, and public appearances  which the producers of the series made for promotional purposes. Includes materials relating to meetings held with advisors in preparation for production of the series, including a transcipt of an advisor's meeting held December 2, 1995, and an agenda for an advisor's meeting held December 19, 1996. Includes a schedule and biography of speakers for the Blackside "school," internal education workshop held May 16-18, 1997, in Boston, to familiarize Blackside staff with the subject matters featured in the production.
