Interview with Horace Carmichael originally conducted for After the Fall, the pilot of The Great Depression series and broadcast as part of American Experience.  Mr. Carmichael's interview was used both in the pilot and in the series. Discussion centers on the "Bonus Army" march and encampment in Washington, DC in 1932, as well as the attempts to maintain peace by Pelham Glassford, retired Army General and  Superintendent of the Washington D.C. Police Department.
