Interview with E.D. Nixon outside of church. He says that the MIA (Mississippi Improvement Association) was set up for more than one thing--to improve the situation of Montgomery--it's a permanent organization. More votes for negroes. Recreation. Hard to say how it looks. Conviction in court case--will appeal. They could convict all 93 of us and it wouldn't stop the improvement association. Born out of a committee--not set up for boycott--non-violent.
