Scenes from school integration in Little Rock, Arkansas. .  Army station wagon delivers black students to home of Daisy Bates.  Students walk up sidewalk to house and go inside.  Students surround Mrs. Bates, who, when interviewed says that the military authorities have been very nice as well as the school board and the police-- gave them adequate protection the first day.  Gov. Faubus, when interviewed separately, says that Little Rock is occupied territory, unsheathed bayonets in the backs of schoolgirls, etc.
