"This 11-minute film provides illustrations about blackbirds. A male blackbird is shown standing guard while the female busily prepares a nest. When the nest is completed, she gets some food. The birds mate and, shortly, the female lays eggs. The male warns her with loud cries when danger is near. Soon, 3 baby birds are hatched and both the male and female cooperate in feeding the hungry young birds. The birds mature quickly and leave the nest to explore their world. JMS, 8-75.
