Name: JACK WILLIS COLLECTION

Summary: Collection comprises of 16mm film, 35mm film, audio and various video formats, as well as paper material. The collection focuses primarily around interviews conducted for an untitled, never completed documentary on the history of Civil Rights in America, which was produced under Mr. Willis' own Center for Documentary Media. Additional titles includes: "Lay My Burden Down," "Crime in the Streets," and "The Streets of Greenwood," among others which were largely produced for public television. The vast majority of the collection pertains to Mr. Willis' time spent at both National Educational Television as well as at WNET, or Channel 13 in New York City.
